He Meandered The Streets Looking For Love While Maggots Were Eating Him Alive

Rib was found wandering the streets of Campo Mourao, Parana, Brazil, writes ilovemydogsomuch

When rescuers first approached him, he was very scared and confused. But they were very patient with him and continued to try and gain his trust so they could help him.

Poor Rib was in terrible shape. His body was covered in mange and wounds, which made him lose most of his hair. He also had worms and was very weak, starving and exhausted.

They rushed him to the vet, where they found live maggots in his wounds and discovered that he had anemia and was also infested with ticks and fleas.

They began his treatment and he went to live with a foster, where he would finally feel safe and loved. Then he went on to his forever home, where he learned to trust humans again and was no longer afraid.

His hair grew back in to reveal the most gorgeous, fluffy dog. He also gained so much confidence in himself and came out of his shell.
