The injured dog was found by an honest Samaritan abandoned in York, South Carolina, writes zenoonee
The Pit Bull Terrier took control of the animals in York County to treat him as he was hit by bite wounds on his body, neck and head.
The dog underwent surgery and he also needed skin transplants on his ears, which were literally ripped out.
Luckily, they found that the pit bull was still hearing. The surgery was successful, so the dog was also given antibiotics for heartworm and injuries.
Veterinarians believed that the dog was used as a dog bait, was repeatedly exploited, mutilated and attacked. Scooter lived in the family until he fully recovered. And he now lives in a forever home with a loving family. What luck!
