Sadly, this is what happened to Daisy, a two-year-old Labrador retriever who was left to fend for herself in the worst way possible by her humans. His malnutrition was so severe that it shocked everyone.

The helpless dog was left stranded on a lonely road in Cocoa, Florida, just before Christmas, a time she wanted to spend with her loved ones, surrounded by love.

But, it was months before anyone found her, turned into a big bag of bones , so hungry that she was chewing bits of her blanket in desperation just to have some food.

Rescuers at the Brevard Humane Society shelter were horrified to see Daisy’s plight, knowing that not only had she starved for months, but she also had to endure unwarranted rejection from her humans on a daily basis .

“What is wrong with these people? The stories of injustice never end. Animals deserve love and respect . People who do bad things to them deserve to suffer the greatest ordeal,” said an annoyed netizen.

Daisy’s malnutrition was so severe that she was only half her normal weight, only 13 kilograms. She was beyond exhausted, she could barely stand up and lift her head from her.

Despite everything she had been through, this dog did not lose hope of living and trusted that there were good people capable of opening their hearts to help her.
