However, as the months passed, a disheartening reality settled in. The posts about Oscar went unanswered, and the days turned into a year. Gradually, the memory of this forgotten pup began to fade.
Amidst mounting pressures, MDAS reached its maximum capacity, forcing long-term residents like Oscar to face an uncertain fate. It was then that Humans and Animals United, led by Rosa Fond, intervened.

“He deserves a good home,” Fond expressed with conviction. “A place where he will be showered with affection, healing from the traumas of his past, and given the time to feel safe.”
