Phoenix is one of the 5 worst cases we’ve ever rescued, writes androdass
When we discovered phoenix, she was in a critical state. Phoenix wa lying alone in a deserted, with a skinny body .There were many bugs on her feet, hundresq of thousands of ants devoured her.
Phoenix could not stand up and walk, She cried in pain . Although lying near the curb, no one noticed her existance. We couldn(t believe why humans were so cold to such a poor dog ?
I quickly chased away the ants for Phoenix, and fed her a little ,but she didn’t eat even a bite . I put Phoenix in the car and went straight to the hospital . Doctores quickly examined her and suggested that she might have a pelvic fracture and cancer .
Our warrior suffered from extremely low hypothermia, severe malnutrition and anemia . Phoenix has done 2 tests and fortunately all the results were negative .
First of all, doctores used drugs to stabilize body temperature along with serum infusion ,Then they switched to the permanent method of using blankets and heater , but it seemed that Phoenix has a nerve injury that made her unable to control her behavior and constantly convulsed .
After 2 months in hospital, this was the first time the nurse could shower her .
We were very proud of Phoenix because she was doing so well and has no intention of giving up the life . 3 months after being rescued, let’s see how Phoenix has changed .
She was vompletely healthy , plump and very lovely .In particular, our daughter is living a happy life that many other dogs have dreamed of .

There are several ways that you can help your local dog shelter:
- Volunteer your time: You can donate your time to the shelter by volunteering. You can walk the dogs, clean their cages, play with them, or help with adoption events.
- Donate money: Most shelters rely on donations to cover their expenses. You can donate money to the shelter to help them pay for food, medical care, and other expenses.
- Donate supplies: Shelters always need supplies such as food, toys, bedding, and cleaning supplies. You can donate these items to the shelter.
- Foster a dog: If you have space in your home and are able to care for a dog, you can foster a dog from the shelter. This helps to free up space in the shelter and gives the dog a better chance of being adopted.
- Spread the word: You can help the shelter by spreading the word about their work. Share their social media posts, tell your friends and family about the shelter, and encourage them to adopt from the shelter.
By taking any of these actions, you can make a positive difference in the lives of the dogs at your local shelter.
