This happened in the state of Texas, USA, where a puppy was rescued from a bucket of water in which he drowned.

Calli, when they decided to baptize the creature, was saved by a stranger who, witnessing his own dog’s despair, approached a bucket of water without even imagining himself to be. Find something inside.

Inside the bucket was the dog struggling to survive and howling desperately. His fight attracted the puppy’s attention which alarmed the man.

Immediately, this kind man took her out and tried to help her, but he knew that her condition was much worse and asked for help.

The man contacted the Dallas Dog Rescue, Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Team to handle the incident.

“ This emaciated puppy was left in a bucket of water. A man heard his dog’s noises and found the girl trapped in his pet’s bucket of water,” Dallas Dog Rescue, Rehab and Reform reported on Facebook.

As rescuers reported on their social media, the little girl was “overheated in South Texas , covered in fleas and full of parasites, she was taken out of the bucket and Animal Control was called in.”

Although her belly looked bloated, the mestiza was malnourished and filled with parasites inside her. Calli needed medical attention and rehabilitation, so the organization stepped in.

“The dog was collapsing, they moved her to a cooler area, gave her pedialyte and NutriCal, which seems to have helped her up. While the dog was slowly drinking, they didn’t realize she needed medical attention, so we stepped in and rescued her,” Dallas Rescue, Rehab and Reform said.

Calli is in good hands now and rescuers are thanking the man who helped save her life for doing the right thing and letting them participate.

The dog will be cared for by the organization until it is healthy and ready for adoption, we hope it will find a family that truly loves it.
